BC High School Provincial Championship

The BC High School Provincial Championship was held in Langley, BC June 9-11. Three athletes from Penticton Track and Field Club participated in the event: Miles Hayden (gr 8), Oscar Grainger (gr 12), and Matt Pinsonneault (gr 11). All three of them accomplished personal bests in their races and achieved fantastic results. Congratulations Matt, Oscar, and Miles!

Oscar Grainger:

Mens 3000 (senior) 9:24.30 16th place

Matt Pinsonneault:

Mens 1500 (senior) 4:25.94 25th place (heats)

Mens 3000 (senior) 9:38.01 20th place

Miles Hayden:

Mens 1500 (gr 8) 4:32.59 3rd place

Mens 800 (gr 8) 2:13.36 5th place
